Here are a couple of close views of the quilting. This is easily the most ornate FMQ I've ever done. It was actually quite fun!
This little gem finishes at 20" square. I'm sending it off into the ether, and hoping for the best. My partner had practically zero presence on the discussion board and in the comment threads, so I really don't know what she'll think of it. Never mind, I'm hoping for the best.

So beautiful! I am sure she will love it! Your FMQ is amazing--I find it so intimidating. You must have worked hard to get so good!
excellent job!! I love your colors and the quilting as well. I am working with a blue lime greenish color pallette and like the purple you have with yours - I was stumped on what to put with mine and now I'll audition purples:)
Wonderful - she would have to be a total muppet not to be delighted to recieve this.
Wow - that`s such a rich looking mini! It almost looks like metal.
Beautiful! :)
You did an amazing job! I would think anyone would be honored to receive it, I'm sure she will love it! btw~ where did you find the flying geese template for the 4th round on this pattern...I can't seem to find it anywhere!
Wow!!! Just wow!!!!!!
She's a beauty indeed. Quilting NYBs always stumps me for some reason. I love what you've done here. Quiet partners really sap one's creative mojo, I find. But the upshot is that you can pretty much suit yourself when making something!
Excellent job, Lesly
It's beautiful. The quilting just makes it pop. Love it!!
It is gorgeous. I love the quilting.
That is so beautiful - you've got a lucky partner, and if she doesn't realize it, boo on her!! Love the quilting, too!!
Gorgeous...I'm sure your silent partner will love it!
I am fairly certain this will not come to me but I totally love it. I really love your colour choices and the quilting is a wonderful finish to such a beautiful piece.
Colour is such a dizzying, exhilarating thrill isn't it. Those greens? Those purples! Carry me out!!!
OMG!!! I am in love!! Is this paper pieced?
