The pattern has them set just like I'm showing here, but I'm wondering what they would look like on point. I'd have to buy extra red for the setting triangles, but it might look awfully nice. Hmmm..... *strokes chin*. What do you think?

It looks great. I'd say lay them out on point, and if you like it, then go for it.I really like blocks on point brings a totally different look to the quilt.

That looks so good. I would love to see it laid out on point.
I am debating about putting a border or doing it like the book shows. I bought some fabric for borders in case I decide to go that way, but right now, I just need to get a move on and make some blocks. Hopefully this weekend.

I am just loving this quilt more and more as I see everyone's emerging. Never thought of setting them on point, but I think you should try it. Post a pic and we'll compare and contrast. Looking great so far. Love all those reds!
Great progress on your snowball challenge. I love all the reds. I agree with all the others to take a photo of them on point and compare. Don't think you can go wrong either way.
